Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and filmmaker. Known for her elegant beauty her longevity in the highly competitive film industry reflects her talent and skills as performer. She started her career modeling in the 1970s and soon became one of the most prominent models. Following her studies in acting, Russo began her modeling career at the age of Los Angeles. Russo began her film debut on ABCs drama show Sable in 1987 portraying the role of Eden Kendell. In her first film Major League two years after she portrayed Tom Berengers romantic interest. In April of 2015, Rose fought Carla Esparza for the inaugural Women s Strawweight Championship at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale which she took by a technical knockout just 3 minutes into Round One which resulted in not only winning the title but also receiving the title of Fighter Of The Night along making history in MMA because this was the for the first time in history that women competed for a championship title in any of the major promotions across the globe . Namajunas continued to win several other fights. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, which earned two Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
