Annet Mahendru

Mahendru was born to an Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. Mahendru fluently speaks German Russian English. The parents of Annet Mahendru are Russian as well as Indian. In 2011, she devised a choreography that earned her the opportunity to appear on German TV as an Russian snowmaiden. She later transformed into an Indian dancer. When she graduated of New York's top high school, she received her bachelor's in English degree at St. John's University. She studied comedy and improvisation in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her parents were the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. Her parents separated at the age of 13 old and she was moved to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on FX's The Americans. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable television performance. Her recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
